After graduation from Williams College in Massachusetts, Dr. Greg Hall attended the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo and completed residency in Internal Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. He is a leader in medical education and a staunch advocate for the elimination of health disparities through targeted policy change, increased funding for urban health research and programs, cultural competency for health care practitioners in urban environments, and community engagement. In addition to seeing patients in the office and hospital, Dr. Hall is an associate professor with a dual appointment in the departments of Internal Medicine and Integrative Medical Sciences at the Northeastern Ohio Medical University. Dr. Hall was a governor-appointed member of the Ohio Commission on Minority Health and served as Chairman for many years. The commission, which was the first of its kind in America more than 30 years ago, leads Ohio's endeavors to reduce health disparities among the state's minority populations. Dr. Hall is the Board President of the Cuyahoga County Board of Health which oversees health activities in Ohio’s largest county. Dr. Hall’s book “Patient-Centered Clinical Care for African Americans: A Concise, Evidence-Based Guide to Important Differences and Better Outcomes” published by Springer in 2020 is the first comprehensive title detailing the optimal clinical care of African Americans.
